The good thing about rock bottom is that you have nowhere to go but up. And when you have nothing left to give, you take. So I ended up taking all my writing madness, using it all up into what is now called Brand Story Lounge.
There I was, left standing with a great storytelling skill but, frankly, not much else.
Somewhere in between were a series of self-sabotaging life choices made in the name of love, (cheers to all the wrong decisions that made us dumber and dumber until we realized that mom was right) who I thought was endgame but ended up vanishing after 8. LONG. YEARS.
12 years ago, bruised, broken, and fresh out of college, I bounced to a new city and transformed into a word warrior. (That’s just my fancy, made-up term for a broke ghostwriter, working, in true ghostwriter fashion, the graveyard shift for peanuts.)
It’s flattering, really. Because this all used to be just wishful thinking to me.
Like love at first sight, the butterflies in my stomach giggle non-stop every time I work with women hustling to create that dream life with heart, sweat, and passion.
